Sep. 14th, 2011 06:02 pmOut of my mind. It’s a sickness, really it is. I have more blank journals stacked up waiting to be written in And yet, I can’t resist a bahhgain. The first is a Paperblanks in the Leonardo sketches series; this one is called Sun and Moonlight (I hear Connor MacLeod murmuring, “It was a good year. The Montgolfier Brothers went up in their first balloon…”).
These two Journey notebooks, 9.25 x 6.25” were on sale half price from Exacompta. How could I resist that? The one with the leaves is called “Little Tiki Guy”,
the other is the Inuksuk image that was used as a symbol for the 2010 Winter Olympics. We saw one in the Olympic Village when we ran up to Whistler last spring.

My mind is a fearsome place that makes uncanny, random connections. And also thinks that owning ALL THE JOURNALS is a great idea. My mind needs to have a talk with my storage space and my pocketbook. Where DID I leave that willpower…?

Date: 2011-09-16 09:01 pm (UTC)The vials have a bonus use--rather than filling a pen from the bottle itself and possibly contaminating the whole bottle, a small amount in the deep and narrow vial works better. Works for when the level in the bottle is too low to cover the nib, as well.
Oh--the Sun and Moonlight journal is from Paperblanks. They're available at most stationers and bookstores, at Amazon, and atJenni Bick, as well as the Paperblanks site online.
