So I'm back at uni now. Dissertations and projects ahoy! But this big ol' chubby journal sits there in the corner all red and bright and "write in me, draw in me, you know you want to" - so I did. I hope I can keep it going throughout the next few months, it might be one of the only things that keeps me sane.

LATE-NIGHT TUESDAY WISDOM: You know the little capsules that hold the toys in Kinder eggs? Amazing for holding water for painting. I haven't tried carrying them to uni full of water yet, but so far they seem pretty watertight so I think it'll be okay. Either way, I'm going to eat more chocolate eggs with the excuse that these things are good to have in my toolbox.




Get winter coat to suit crazy-ass fashion needs: check.


A district of our city is Vintage Heaven. I have to walk through it to get to my sign class, and it takes willpower to not buy more things.


Don't suppose there are other Sly Cooper fans in the house? I've been playing Sly 2 and 3 a lot recently, and I'm really looking forward to Thieves in Time. Carmelita is my favourite. ♥

Got a nice cake from the Macmillan stall when in uni. May be the only time I'm allowed to eat in the library, and the money went to charity too.


Once every two years (used to be yearly), I visit the cancer treatment after-effects clinic. With it comes a whole host of emotions.


A puzzle from a Kinder egg makes for a very interesting journal page.

There's actually a section on the wiki page for Kinder Surprise about how they're prohibited in the US. It's partially because of a law originally made in bloody 1938 about how items imbedded in sweets have to be functional (like a lollipop stick, f'rex). And because we a litigious but apparently illiterate people, the government does not trust us to read the warnings that there are non-edible bits and one shouldn't eat the non-edible bits, lest we then sue someone if our children choke on small things and die. *facepalm*

So when I say "Americans are fucking morons" ...well.
